CSA Featured at British Council’s TNE Journeys: A Living Wall of Impact Showcase

The City School of Architecture (CSA) was privileged to participate in the British Council’s “TNE Journeys: A Living Wall of Impact” showcase, held on 25th July 2025 in conjunction with the official visit of the UK Parliamentarian Delegation to Sri Lanka.

Hosted by the British Council, the event celebrated the far-reaching impact of UK Transnational Education (TNE) and its role in shaping academic and professional pathways across borders.

Representing CSA, Mr. Nilrandha Fonseka, an accomplished alumnus, shared his personal journey and reflections on how UK TNE has influenced his academic development and professional growth. His story offered a compelling example of how international education partnerships empower students to achieve transformative outcomes.

The school was also represented by Archt. Surangi Gunawardena, Senior Management Representative at CSA, who actively engaged with members of the UK Parliamentarian Delegation. Her participation contributed to meaningful discussions on the evolving role of transnational education in fostering innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable impact within the higher education landscape.

CSA’s inclusion in this distinguished platform underscores the institution’s continued commitment to delivering globally relevant architectural education. The event served not only as a celebration of educational excellence, but also as a reaffirmation of the power of international collaboration in shaping future-ready professionals and strengthening communities.
