After graduating in Master of Architecture from Keio University in 2008 she joined Toyo Ito and Associates and was apprentice there for 07 years. She founded Yoko Takaike Architects in 2015 and since being practicing from Tokyo, Japan. She has been a visiting lecturer since 2017 at the Institute of Science at Keio University, Department of Architecture at Kogakuin University , Kanto Gakuin University / Meiji University.
