CSA Foundation Diploma in Architectural Studies
At the entry to the 1-year full-time Foundation Diploma in Architectural Studies course at CSA, applicants should have fulfilled the following minimum criteria:
- Completed 12/13 years of schooling up to the senior secondary level
- Possess a minimum of 2 Advanced Level Passes (or equivalent) in one sitting at the GCE – Advanced Level Examination, Sri Lanka or equivalent foreign examination.
- Hold at least credit passes for Mathematics and English at the GCE Ordinary Level Sri Lanka or equivalent foreign examination. IELTS average 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each section OR TOEFL 60 points is acceptable for the English language requirement.
- A keen interest in a career in Architecture and Design demonstrated by a portfolio, personal log book, extended CV or personal statement.
Upon successful completion of the one-year full-time course, students will earn 30 credits, equivalent to 1200 learning hours, qualifying to apply for the Part I Year 1 course in Architecture.

- A/L Examination Admission Card (for pending A/L Students)
